Diana Widman has done many custom orders over the internet and in person.

Among other things, we refurbish heirlooms, re-design pieces that no longer fit your lifestyle, use my expertise to buy gemstones for special occasions, and work with brides and grooms. 

A custom order is a collaborative process, allowing us to help you realize your wishes for a treasure that is yours alone.

This is how it works.

The first meeting involves you being as specific as you can about what you want. “My wife loves pink, so I was thinking about getting her a big, pink, heart-shaped stone in a ring.” Or, “I am a GI in Afghanistan and I saw your pendant and want to order one for my girlfriend in Tennessee. ” (true story!) I will ask you about sizes, color preferences, occupation, budget, deadlines. The more you tell me, the better, including your preferred budget. 

If we decide we can work together, I ask for a $450, nonrefundable deposit as payment for time the time spent meeting with you, designing, searching for a gemstone that meets your criteria, sketching, revising, and either making or managing the project. This fee is nonrefundable, but it is applicable to the final cost of your piece once we begin production.

1. The first thing to do is gather concepts, explore, sketch, plan, and measure. This is the point at which I will buy any gemstones required for the project because we need them for the model.
2. Next comes a CAD drawing, a wax, or a metal model. 
3. You will be asked to approve CAD models, wax, or metal models generated for your project before I begin production. This is the point at which changes can be made.
4. You receive the model or drawing with pricing. 
5. I ask for a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of 50% and go to work.

Custom orders are not refundable under any circumstances.
